Catering to the Student
Personal Lessons
One-on-one lessons for singles and couples are taught in 45-minute sessions. These are by appointment only and are the cornerstone to advancing your dancing.
Group Classes
Group classes are prescheduled and are taught in 60 minute sessions. They are great ways to reinforce your learning. Come to practice solo or bring along friends and make it a party! Take group lessons together.
Practice Parties
Practice Time:
As an Academy Ballroom student we encourage you to practice what you have learned in your lessons, not only before or right after your lesson but anytime you feel you have time to get on the floor and practice.
Academy Ballroom students have FREE practice time on our floor anytime we are open unless there is a private event scheduled. This applies only to Academy Ballroom Cumberland students, all other students and /or amateur couples must pay the customary floor fee at the time of usage. Currently the fee is $10 per session. We encourage you to use this time as no other studio offers such inexpensive floor fees and FREE practice time in the metro area.
These are a great way to mix with fellow students.... The Academy Ballroom creates the party and students are free to dance with their fellow classmates and other instructors learning how to dance with anyone.
