 PRIVATE DANCE LESSONS

Private Lessons
Private lessons are one-on-one sessions for singles or couples and are taught in 45-minute blocks, these are the cornerstone to advance your dancing. These are by appointment only and you set your appointments based on your schedule and availability. In these dance lessons you may choose any dance you wish to learn.

GROUP DANCE LESSONS

Group Classes
Group classes are pre-scheduled and are taught in 60 minute sessions. They are great ways to reinforce your learning. Come to practice solo or bring along friends and make it a party! Take group lessons together. All group classes are progressive classes which begin and end with each month. You must register for the classes no later than the second week of the month. After the second week no late registrations will be accepted unless a private make up lessonis purchased. Group classes are limited to 25 people. Calling ahead to register is recommended since classes tend to fill up quickly.

PRACTICE DANCE PARTIES

Practice Parties
These are a great way to mix with fellow students practice what you've learned and have fun! The Academy Ballroom creates the party, enjoy light food and refreshment and great music and dancing! Students are free to dance with their fellow classmates as well as our instructors, learning how to dance with anyone!

Practice Time
As an Academy Ballroom student we encourage you to practice what you have learned in your lessons, not only before or right after your lesson but anytime you feel you have time to get on the floor and practice.

Academy Ballroom students have FREE practice time on our floor anytime we are open unless there is a private event scheduled. This applies only to Academy Ballroom Cumberland students who are currently enrolled with leesons. All other students and /or amateur couples must pay the customary floor fee at the time of usage. Currently the fee is $10 per session. We encourage you to use this time as no other studio offers such inexpensive floor fees and FREE practice time in the metro area.
